pickThis is one of my favourite reads in February, set in Thanopolis with magic is rare and controlled. Rowan kept her magic a secret but an incident exposes her powers. She discovers a secret and along with some others she tries to change things. It was really gripping and good world building.
so-soThis is one of those books where I can't decide if I really liked it but also can't figure out why. The magic system was interesting, I think I just didn't care about the main character and the romances felt forced. Pretty book though.
