#funfridayphoto I discovered the Madeleine Brent books when I was "studying" in the library. I used to browse Good Housekeeping magazines for the exotic american food and to read the abridged novels. Brent is the pseudonym for Peter O'Donnell and I loved his ahead their times heroines in these gothic romances. I hunted down my four favorites with the original covers and reread them every few years. And, I still love them, 30+ years later.
