Well pals my covid booster shot has absolutely floored me - not in a way where there‘s anything to worry about I just feel very gross. Curled up in bed with some gorgeous parallel translation Russian fairy story poetry to distract myself from the dizziness and nausea. Seriously, every time I get a vaccine it makes me feel like I‘ve got the worlds worst hangover.

I don‘t think I‘ve ever properly shown y‘all the Russian fairy tale plates I inherited from my grandma. This one, depicting “Ruslan and Ludmilla,” was always my favourite because it has a badass horse AND a red castle. I‘ve got the plates in my reading nook now, and I made sure to hang this one so it‘s impossible to miss. #keeplitsypositive

xicanti @Laughterhp it‘s part of a collectors‘ set released in the late 80s! My grandma bought three of them, and I found a fourth at the thrift store last year. 4y

xicanti @Blueberry she did. She was my babysitter before I started school, and she let me help her unwrap each plate as it arrived. Then my grandpa hung them up in the living room. 4y
