I've been waiting for the author to mention influential female manga artists for several pages. And then this line happened: "the hopes and dreams of all modern women to find an ideal mate and find happiness in marriage are portrayed..." And I can't decide if this author is being sarcastic or if I've really picked the wrong book. #sexism #manga #mangaresearch #mangahistory
