I needed to reread something set at least partially in the summer, and this was the right call. The town and its inhabitants are so fun and well-developed, and Eve and Sawyer have a great second chance romance. #romance #contemporaryromance

This one didn‘t draw me in at all. Read just about 50 pages and kept thinking of other things to do instead of reading it.

I'm loving this second-chance romance!

A thought I had whilst reading: This is like Netflix‘s Christmas movies (The Knight Before Christmas, anyone?) but hotter and without Christmas lol.

It's almost 2:30am, not quite 3am yet, but this mostly applies to me tonight. I have tomorrow off and I haven't had much time for reading this week, so I'm up late catching up.

End of 2019 goals are going very well. I have only 2 must reads left and 9 books to read to reach my Goodreads 2019 Reading Challenge goal.
I haven't gotten very far in my current read, Mermaid Inn, due to work and a pounding headache. But my head feels better this morning, so I will hopefully get some reading done today.

Today I'm celebrating Periwinkle's adoption day. 7 years ago today I brought her home from the local humane society. We went on a long walk in the windy cold and now she's enjoying some peanut butter. I'm going to warm up with an ARC of Jenny Holiday's January release.
