The Apollo theater in Harlem, NY is one that I think anyone who knows anything about music has heard of. I know I grew up knowing about the importance of The Apollo in Black History. This was a great documentary and I actually learned a lot of things. #TIL (today I learned) that the Billie Holiday made her debut at The Apollo and she sang “Strange Fruit” #NFNov
