Welcome to Litsy!

After a very long 6 days, my mother left us about 22:25 last night. A cousin and her daughter were on watch, playing boardgames. She stopped breathing in between two moves. We are all releaved. Now begins the marathon toward her funeral, which will be as well attended as her personality was large.

I must THANK YOU ALL for your good words and your warm thoughts over the last week. You are too numerous to thank each personally. You were a boon 😘😘

Against all odds and to everyone's dismay, my mother is still with us. Hopefully, it will not be long, because I have to leave Monday and I would hate to go of she's still here. It's hard, hardest on my father. There's nothing else to do but wait.

Still with us. It's a long wait, but it is her passage and we are only there to accompany her.

As stubburn in death as in life, my mother is still with us. She has been off life saving apparatuses since Sunday night but hangs on. She is quite comfortable and with family round the clock. We sang for her, 11 of us sisters, cousins and spouses, and for all of the ICU as well. From her life signs, it should be today. Her last moments awake were doing her favourite thing ever: clothes shopping. She make a killing too!

I want to thank all those sending good thoughts and love on my previous post. Not in a position to answer all of you individually, but I am overwhelmed by the love and support. Thank you! 😘😘😘😘😘

When it rains, it pours. My mother ⬆️ is on her death bed. We are leaving tomorrow morning for Québec City and will likely not be back until after the funeral. I have no idea how often I'll be on here, with *everything* that'll need to be done in the coming days, but please know that my world is made better by all you #littens and the books we share. You are the best.
