Uhuru: a novel of Africa today | 
This is what my nightstand looks like — though, of course, the books always are changing. It often has a few books I have just finished but not yet shelved, as well as the books in the queue. And, of course, there are always galleys and ARCs, and the books that are research for my next novel.
