For a short story, this was quite good. A lot of time short stories don't really get me invested in the short amount of time I spend on them. But this was one of the good ones. I knew, from Ready Player One that I loved his narration...now I know that I really like his writing, too.

This is a novelette so it was a quick read/listen. It‘s perfect for Halloween and it‘s available on Hoopla. I did figure out what was going on just before the reveal, but it‘s still an entertaining horror story. #screamathon

P.S. I sometimes wish there were multiple audio guy stickers with different expressions, like scared. 😦
