I found this to be the saddest Hamish Macbeth book yet!
It was completely different to the usual way these books are written and it definitely did grip me and kept me wanting to read more!
I felt so sad for both Hamish and Olivia in this book, and i do hope that Oliva makes an appearance in the other titles. And i SO hope that Blair finally gets found out for his backstabbing ways!

Time to visit Lochdubh, for some peace and quiet and surely another murder. Do enjoy this cozy mystery series based around the village of Lochdubh and starring the underrated Hamish Macbeth. Underestimate him at your peril!
