How Many Legs?
How Many Legs? | Kes Gray
1 post | 1 read | 1 to read
From the award-winning Kes Gray and the winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, Jim Field, comes an hilarious counting picture book about our four-legged - and two-legged and eight-legged - friends! How many legs would there be if a polar bear came for tea? How high would the leg count go if a squid rode in on a buffalo? As more and more animals join in the fun, count along if you can! Praise for Oi, Frog! also by Kes Gray and Jim Field: 'An absolute treat.' - Daily Mail Kes is one of the Independent's TOP TEN children's authors and winner of the Red House Children's Book Award. Jim's first picture book Cats Ahoy! won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2011.

Pickpick

Well, this one was a lot of fun & created exactly the sort of hilarity you DON'T want right at bedtime! It is a simple rhyme about legs (obviously) and you just have to count 'em all. Which wasn't as easy as it sounds! My five year old loved keeping tally though things did get heated over whether frogs have 4 legs or 2 arms & 2 legs and whether to count the table legs or not! Good stuff - and the answer is provided at the end!
