I had an INSANE day at work (I groomed, bathed, or did nails on 16 dogs today. In a normal day I do 6!). I had forgotten it was opening day until I sat down with Litsy and saw the other #WinterSwap photos! Yay!

pickCompleted for “something you weren‘t looking for” in #nonfiction2019. (I just randomly pulled it out of the bookcase.) A memoir by a woman who unexpectedly becomes a widow at 44, and finds out 7 months later that her husband had been unfaithful —multiple times. She sets out to find the other women and discover things about her late husband. Between a pick and a so-so for me. FYI: Contains frank and graphic talk about sex.
I held out until my lunch hour today to open and I felt like I was opening gifts from a long-time friend - someone who knew me well. Thank you so much @LaurenReads ❤️ 3 of these books I have been coveting for a while and the other is a story about a family that moves from Haiti to Detroit - two important places to me.
