A reader's nightmare, though for me not a surprise. My blind eye is getting blinder, the entire lens has gotten milky in the last two weeks, on top of my cataract that's getting even denser than before. It's obscuring my barely functioning nerve and stretched retina. So, yeah, blinder. The other eye is myopic but fine. #medical

cobwebmoth I'm sorry. That really sucks. *hugs* 5y

tournevis @cobwebmoth @kspenmoll @wanderinglynn @squirrelbrain @Meaw_catlady @MommyWantsToReadHerBook Thank you my friends. It's not as if I didn't know. I've known all my life it would get blinder than it was from birth, but it sucks. I'm still sighted, but I have to make sure not to tire the other one then more now than ever before. 5y
LibrarianJen 😓 sorry to hear this. 5y
Lcsmcat I‘m so sorry! Is there any treatment? 5y
rabbitprincess Oh no! That really sucks. 5y
Megabooks I‘m so sorry! 5y
tournevis @LibrarianJen @rabbitprincess @Megabooks Thank you. It's ok. @Lcsmcat No, this eye was malformed in the womb. It cannot get better. Were I to get the cataract removed, the risk of retina detached would be garantied. So no. 5y
Lcsmcat @tournevis As my father-in-law would say “Well shit.” I‘m sorry. 5y

tournevis @Gissy @batsy It will be fine. 😘 5y
CarolynM My grandfather used to say it's no fun getting old and I'm just starting to see how right he was. Physical deterioration may be something we have to live with, but boy oh boy, it's annoying! More audio books for you, I think😘 5y
tournevis @CarolynM Gonna have to learn not to fall asleep listening to them... 🤷 5y
