A coworker from years ago recently wrote this. The story takes place on an island where the people in town age at an unusually slow pace. Caitlyn, who is from the mainland, is hired to teach a year at the local school. Austin is asked to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn‘t suspect anything. Overall, I enjoyed the relationship and the aging spin was fun. She just edited the 2nd book and I‘m looking forward to continuing the series.

I woke up at 5am and couldn‘t fall back to sleep. Not sure if it‘s Coronavirus Anxiety or the fact that it‘s going to hit 80 degrees today before the temps plummet and the rains set in. My poor dog is exhausted from walks and lack of naps with everyone home. I‘m hoping to get most of this book read today.

I‘m starting this book today! I used to work with the author at a retail store when my kiddos were babies and she was in high school. She finished the edit this week for the 2nd book in the series. She‘s amazing and I‘m really looking forward to her series!

I purchased 2 books for my Kindle first thing this morning. Both books are author friend/co-workers. Went to breakfast and there was a hard copy of one of the books I just purchased! It must be a sign to read it soon! The place at the end of my street has a LFL bookcase. I stocked it upon arrival and saw a kid devour the 1st book and start a 2nd graphic novel series our previous neighbor had written. Kudos to ALL the authors in this world!
