I‘d never read Rachelle Ayala before, and now I never will again. The writing was subpar. The romantic parts were trite and saccharine. But mostly I absolutely hated how casually she dealt with homelessness, especially veteran homelessness and PTSD. It was also almost anti-feminist in the way that she made the main character feel selfish/guilty in her choice to become a single mother. I typically like a fluffy Christmas romance. This just sucked.
