10 posts | 81 read | 1 reading | 9 to read
In idyllic Rosewood, Pennsylvania, four very pretty girls just can't help but be bad. . . . Hanna will do anything to be Rosewood's queen bee. Spencer's digging up her family's secrets. Emily can't stop thinking about her new boyfriend. And Aria approves a little too strongly of her mom's taste in men. Now that Ali's killer is finally behind bars, the girls think they're safe. But those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it. And they should know by now that I'm always watching. . . .

“It was more fun to think about their future than dwell on the past.”-Wicked.

I am holding off on starting a bunch of books until Saturday for BookBingo2018. So reading some pll to pass the time. It‘s been a while since I read book 4, but these are like candy. Another angst filled book of fun.

Since these don't take very long to read, I've just been plowing through. This one was a bit weaker than the previous four books but kept me hooked nonetheless.

Racing through this series and quickly becoming an addict. I'm having trouble picturing the characters as they are described and not how they were portrayed in the TV show. Does anybody else have this problem with books turned shows/movies?! #summereading #julyseries #seriesreading

christineandbooks Love this TV show but just couldn't read the books. I made it through maybe three of them before stopping. The differences between the books and show drove me crazy (including how the characters looked - didn't match up with the actors playing them if I remember right). Also I just didn't like the author's writing. 7y
monkeygirlsmama I haven't read this series, but I know exactly what you mean. That's why I much prefer to read THEN watch as opposed to the other way around. Doesn't always work out that way though, and in those times I almost always struggle with the portrayal being not quite what I had conceived mentally. 7y
Kendra.Diane @christineandbooks I know I'm trying to make it so that I'm not comparing to the two but it is hard!! @monkeygirlsmama I know!! I'm a stickler for book before movie!! 7y

Mehso-so

The series continues onward with more weird plot progression and crazy A theatrics. The only thing that's starting to annoy the hell out of me is the unnecessary recap of all of major events from the previous books. If I'm this far in, I don't really need a recap. Or at the very least just put it in a prologue that says: Previously on PLL. 3/5.

Continuing my goal to slay the long serials that've been nesting in my TBR for far too long! This is book 5 in the PLL series. Back to the hot mess madness!! 💋💋
