This #BannedBooksWeek #litereads pick was Dilli Ki Sair (or, A Trip to Delhi in English) by Rashid Jahan. The story isn't a favourite of mine, but it's an interesting depiction of life in purdah in 1930s India, it makes a lot of good points in a short space, and it is a good example of a banned short story.
