Part of downtown Alesund, #Norway, like Trondheim, is on the water. Alesund is built on islands extending into the North Sea. It is a lovely, walkable city but very hilly. If you check out previous posts for the tagged book, you will see my photos during our visit here in 2019, including some photos from the open-air museum boasting another Viking ship and a hint of the midnight sun. #foodandlit
