I am irritated at the 2nd installment of this series because the mystery strongly foreshadowed in the first novel (2x) was nonexistent except for yet another string along at the very end in a separate brief chapter. It isn‘t a cliff hanger, that I can understand and can enjoy, but this kind of manipulation I don‘t appreciate so I won‘t be continuing on. I was interested in that thread, so too bad for me.

Tamra @Cathythoughts thank you! But I know you too have some perennial beauties yourself! There are so few plants I can put in the ground here without making a buffet for the deer. The other day they came right up to the front steps to eat my potted petunias. š¬ 5y
