When Journalism was a Thing
When Journalism was a Thing | Alexandra Kitty
2 posts | 1 read
Journalism used to be a thing. It used to be a powerful and wonderful thing, yet now it has become a curiosity, and not even the Internet can resurrect it. When Journalism was a Thing considers the downfall and the reasons why, but also offers a model for a new approach to the once-noble profession.

Please pray for all of the news people covering this today, Trump has villainized them for the past four years and I fear for the lives of those covering this in person today.

MallenNC I do too, Melissa. I worry for them and everyone else trying to do their jobs. 3y

Interesting ideas, but poor evidence and faulty reasoning. The author idealises journalism‘s past and, despite advocating for facts and truth, creates a false narrative of balance that relies on blatant untruths. A bit disappointing.
