Rough draft of my 52 cards for #TBRdeckofcards this year. I'm working on the layout in my journal for it and waiting for some washi tape to arrive. I'll also be doing a Read the Room challenge, where you read any TBR books you own that have been sitting around your house. Because of that, I've listed all books I don't own on this list to help rid my TBR of as many books as possible.

#TBRDeckofCards .. Darnit, you folks keep coming up with great ideas for challenges.
@Clwojick
#TBRDeckofCards I've done TERRIBLE with this one. 🤦♀️
I did finish Rules of Prey, so again, adding that to #Scarathlon2021 #TeamSlaughter @Clwojick
February Update for #TBRDeckofCards
I picked 9 cards. 6 of them I read, 2 I bailed halfway through and 1 I am still on a wait list to borrow.

I am so excited to participate in this challenge. I didn't get it set up in time to start in January but I'm ready for February. I divided my TBR picks into genres with Aces being free choice.

Finally had a chance to figure out my prompts for #tbrdeckofcards! Diamonds have different things that are on the cover, clubs are any book in a series (because I have a ton of series to finish), hearts have different genres and spades have different cover colors! So excited!
Here's my list for the #TBRDeckofCards challenge. Each month I will draw 5 cards (4 for Feb) and add those titles to my #bookspinbingo card for the month. These are all books that I own and like many just need to knock off the TBR shelf. I have over 1,200 books with no room left for new ones. I'm going to have to start parting with books. The problem is I keep reading books that I'm sure to like and want to reread. This is completely random.
This looks like so much fun that I had to join in. Coincidentally, there are 52 unread books in my audible account. Perfect! On top of my other reading commitments, I would like to complete four of these a month. I matched the titles up to cards, and here we go…

I can‘t resist joining the #TBRDeckofCards challenge—but I don‘t have the energy to come up 52 prompts on my own, so I used a random word generator. 😂
Here are the five cards I drew for January:
5♠️: Condition
Q♠️: Glow
3♣️: Merchant
6♣️: Planet
9♣️: Witness
I‘m planning to be flexible with how a book can fulfill one of these prompts (by title, cover, story, quote, etc.) and see what happens.
♠️I‘m so bummed that I didn‘t get this out BEFORE the start of January, but I really wanted to do this through our 2021 so better late than never, right!❤️
♦️Anyways, I really hope you guys join me! I‘ll be trying to choose books specifically off my owned or digital TBR, but feel free to make the prompts work any way that you want! You can change up the prompt list monthly, or reuse the prompts! It‘s adaptable, so make it perfect for you!♣️
