Triple Chocolate Brownie Genius
Triple Chocolate Brownie Genius | Deborah Sherman
1 post
Michael's days as a happy underachiever are over when he accidentally eats a nanochip loaded with information and becomes his own worst nightmare: a know-it-all. Michael Wise is lazy and unmotivated, and the perfect student council president for J.R. Wilcott Middle School. But one day everything changes drastically when Michael innocently indulges in his favourite treat, his mom's triple chocolate brownies. Unbeknownst to Michael, his computer programming dad accidentally left a chip on the counter when his mom was mixing the recipe. The nanochip, which his dad had developed, is loaded with educational data...and now it's been absorbed into Michael. To Michael's horror, he begins spouting information in his French class, he's a master chef at home, and he's a sudden whiz in math. Before he knows it, Michael is not the happy underachiever he used to be, but a brainiac, held up as an example by his teachers, and hated by everyone in the student body. What has happened to the old Michael? Is the underachiever gone for good? ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year Awards finalist, Juvenile Fiction category, 2007 Diamond Willow Award Nominee 2009

How about this for the Best Postal Delivery Ever??!

Two parcels from lovely #jbuk littens - thank you so much @squirrelbrain & mystery person (I suspect @TrishB 😉). They‘re safely stashed away for weekend - Thank you 🥰

And a non-Litsy parcel (no return address) that I opened because it felt like tupperware. Chocolate brownies! Yum! (I did check whether the person I guessed sent them actually did before I ate too many 🤣😂)

Feeling v spoilt!

TrishB Great mail 😁 it is indeed me! It‘s that scruffy writing.... 5y
rockpools @TrishB I had the Addams family postcard lined up alongside it for handwriting analysis - not scruffy at all! Thank you so much Trish 😁 5y
TrishB Welcome 😘 5y

squirrelbrain Mmm I think #chocolatebrowniemail may even be better than #bookmail 😋😲 😁 Also laughing that you were doing handwriting analysis! 5y
rockpools @squirrelbrain Ha! The handwriting analysis on the brownies was a little higher stakes 🤣🤣🤣. Who sends brownies though the post with no note/return address??! 5y
rockpools @squirrelbrain Not that I don‘t appreciate them, you understand!!! 5y
squirrelbrain That‘d be a different birthday... on bail for dodgy dealing in special brownies! 😘 5y
