The good news is that this will be available in translation next year! "Handbook in interior design and styling" doesn't feature a single photo; instead it has schematics and text, phrased as guidelines rather than hard and fast rules. It provides reasoning and a background to the various features listed. Very good. I'll make sure to holler when it's out in the US.

I already have color theory down, but the book just explained to me why I'm having such a hard time matching paint colors across the Atlantic: NCS colors (the Swedish standard) are perception-based, not physics based.

I just found out that this ("handbook in home decor and styling") book has been sold to the UK, which means it will be translated to English, which means I can get it from Book Depository and buy it for everyone I knowwwww. Congrats.

The catalogue is working so much better - last year a foreign book released only a few months ago would never be available. "handbook in interior design and styling" is an approximate translation of the title, and it contains zero photos, just diagrams. And oat caramel lattes are the best coffees, everyone claiming otherwise is lying.
