Freespirit David Leser the author is an Oz journalist. He wrote an article after the #metoo movement started and was encouraged by thousands of emails to write the book. So far it‘s really good...looks at attitudes of men, religions etc to women...the reasons why men feel they might “own” a women. Lots of historical references and discussion of past rapes/ murders of women. I think an important book especially as it‘s written by a man😬 5y
