Today‘s hike was to the top of Lower Table Rock, a mesa cut by the Rogue River from black volcanic rock. Technically a 3.0 mile round trip hike, once at the top, you can easily add another 3+ miles. Gorgeous view of the valley below: farms, orchards, the river and lakes, Upper Table Rock (sister mesa) and, clear blue skies with hawks wheeling overhead.
