I don‘t enjoy a peevish Emma, and stilly was too timid for me, but I enjoyed everything else!

First two finishes for #CozyintheSun. Nice to visit with old friends which these series are to me.

Librarybelle Hooray! 5y
rretzler Love both of these series but feel like the Aunt Dimity has been very light on mystery lately and more about what‘s going on with the residents of Finch and surrounding areas. 5y
Deblovestoread @rretzler I agree with you, lots of cozy but not much mystery. 5y

rretzler Sounds like you may be invested in the characters like me. It‘s that way for me with both of MC Beaton‘s series - Agatha Raisin and Hamish Macbeth. The books are getting almost unreadable as she is in her 80s, but I keep reading them since I‘ve been reading them for many years! I shouldn‘t keep spending my money, but I‘m so invested now I can‘t stop. 🤣 5y
Deblovestoread @rretzler That is absolutely why I carry on with Dimity. I continue to read the Stephanie Plum books for the same reason. I stopped reading Agatha a few years ago because she became more annoying rather than endearing to me but will pick up where I left off for #cozyinthesun. 5y
ferskner Wow, that's a strong start! 5y

Pick but only for previous fans of the series. If you enjoy cozy mysteries, I would recommend starting at the beginning of the Aunt Dimity series. I‘ve been reading these for many years and have become invested in the characters. The last several have not been strong on the mystery part, and have really been only so-so. This one is has an historical backstory with a bit of information on Indian religion. 3.5⭐️ #2019 📱🕵🏼‍♀️
