I recently reread this book. Definitely caught onto more details and clues. I had fun rereading it because I haven't read it in a while and the book itself is not boring to read over and over again. I definitely recommend rereading books after you have finished it a year or so before. Whenever I reread, I try my best to read every page, since I am definitely a page-skipper. So rereading for me is like reading all the pages I had skipped before.

Emika is about as low as anyone can get - an orphan, a criminal debt, living in poverty & about to be evicted from her horrible digs in NYC. She's hacked into Warcross, the VR video game that has swept the world. Suddenly without realizing it, she's part of the game & becomes an international sensation. She's given $10 million by Hideko, the creator of the game & sent to Tokyo to help him figure out who is trying to sabotage the championship.

This book is in the vain of Ready Player One. A new video game Warcross has taken the world by storm. Millions of people play everyday and others bet huge sums on individual games. Emika Chen is a brilliant hacker and bounty hunter. She tracks down people the police don't have time to in exchange for a cash reward. Lots of work for little reward. Now she needs money desperately so she hacks Warcross and trouble soon follows. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Another 5 star ride. Got through a chunk when I took myself out for. Solo dinner at Cheesecake Factory.

Emika Chen is a financially struggling bounty hunter when she gets sucked into a conspiracy involving the virtual reality esports world of Warcross. So action packed and fun. Reminded me of what Net Force Explorers (the YA books not the regular Net Force ones) used to do for me. The gamer girl in me was so happy! #ya #gamer
