I‘m consuming a lot of nuclear physics-related content right now (Chernobyl HBO series and accompanying podcast and a couple of books), but to be honest I still don‘t quite understand how fission and nuclear power work...😬 So you can bet I snapped this right up when it caught my eye on a new children‘s books display at my library. It helped, a little. 😆
AthenaWins I love these books! They're simplified, but it's perfect for early learning. And hey! We adults need things simplified sometimes too! 5y
Aswenson I have this set of 4 for my one year old, but I don‘t understand much of what I‘m reading to him! 😆 5y
Christine @AthenaWins They do seem like great books! And yes, simplified is so nice for all ages when you just want an overview...one of my kids is obsessed with the Who Was?/What Was?/Where Is? books, and I always learn so much when we read them together. 5y

Christine @Aswenson LOL! Bonus learning opportunity for you. 😄 Wish there had been more books like this when my kiddos were babies 10+ years ago. 5y
Smrloomis Thanks for posting this. This looks great although I might also need the Nuclear Physics for Dummies Guide - that totally exists, right? 😆 5y
Christine @Smrloomis - LOL! I also need that book, so please let me know if you find it. I will say that between this book, the HBO show, and the book I just posted about a minute ago, my understanding has at least improved greatly! 5y
