This is a bit what I was thinking when I read Omega, the 5th installment of The Girl in the Box. I never thought I'd consider stopping reading a favorite series because a character was killed off, but damn if this didn't prove me wrong.
Which book(s) made you feel this way?

QueenAnne I think the latter, also press their fingertips together like Mr Burns and laugh a big Muhaha laugh 😥 8y
Elisa @QueenAnne sounds about right. In this case the author said he mourned the character but I am not convinced 😕 8y
QueenAnne @Elisa you have every reason to be sceptical.. After all the man makes a living creating intricate stories and playing with words.. Not to be trusted! 8y
readinginthedark My favorite characters always die! Simon in Lord of the Flies, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet (of course everyone dies in that one), etc. 8y
Elisa @readinginthedark it's a roller coaster of emotions, being a bookworm!! 😃😱😭😓😶 8y

Mehso-so

I really like this series, but this book wasn't my favorite. It just felt like it dragged on and on and not much actually happened until the end. It felt a little like two events plus a lot of filler. Still, Sienna is an interesting character so I will likely read more, but In not really in a hurry.

Elisa *I'm* not really in a hurry. In other news, I hate the autocorrect. 8y

She may be all kinds of dysfunctional, but I really like Sienna. The girl has got heart. And balls 😉
