Strangely this one hovers between a “Pick” and a “So-So”. It‘s starts strong but then suddenly it gets bulky. For me that destroyed the magic a bit and made it seem lengthy (that fan fiction waffle 🙄).
But I love it for the truth and the wisdom that is scattered throughout the story. It‘s no smooth feel-good novel but it‘s different from YA going off pat. That makes it unforgettable. Which is worth a “Pick”. And a recommendation.
