Counting kisses | 
I'm not sure if I would read this book in my classroom, but I definitely would read it to my own children before they go to sleep. It is a great book to read to them when they are beginning to learn to count and when they want love.
pickI love this picture book. My parents used to read it to me when I was a young kid all the time, and it was my favorite! It is a simple book that can help the kids learn to count, but it is also a good book to read to young children before bed. It counts backwards from 10 to 1 and the baby is getting one less kiss each time, but by the end (one) the baby falls asleep.
It‘s been a long while since I‘ve checked in - this guy showed up early in August and it‘s been a whirlwind ever since. Gotten a little iPhone reading of grownup books done during late night feedings and working our way through a lot of good board books. Our fave is Counting Kisses by Karen Katz.
I've been reading to my 9 month old son since he was born, and now he's really starting to take after me. He wants me to read to him all the time and when we finish a book he'll turn it over so I'll read it again. So cute!
