pickIs anyone attending virtual events this year? They are using crowdcast just like the Hay festival did in Wales UK and I found it an easy platform. I am signed up for about a dozen sessions over the week of the main events. The teen/YA events started this weekend

Texas Book Festival time! So many good authors!
No holiday is complete without checking out the bookstores! It was so much fun to browse Book People - I have a book mark from the store sent to me by the beautiful @Soubhiville which I use all the time - so it was good to visit in the flesh! Loved their book recommendations and blind date books - such passionate booksellers. ❤️
I‘ve had so much fun spending time with @Mitch on her visit to Austin. We had dinner with our husbands tonight- barbecue for the three of them, veggie quesadillas for me 😋. Then we spent about 2 hours exploring Book People. What a great night! And we were so good, we only got one book each.

I got to spend my birthday book money today 😁🤩😍. I had so much fun wandering through Book People and deciding what to bring home with me. I already have my TBR planned for July, but if I get through it I‘ll probably start The Priory of the Orange Tree. This book haul brought to you by my wonderful husband!
