Shaker Heights Public Library | 
Visiting Cleveland with the family and I made a quick stop at Shaker Heights Public Library‘s Main Branch. Many moons ago, I worked part time at the circulation desk. This job helped me to decide that I wanted to pursue a career as a librarian. I went in and was surprised to see Gail, one of the few women of color on staff, still at the desk. I was so pleased to tell her I was a FT Librarian. She said, “I guess we rubbed off on you & it stuck” 😂

gallowbraids I think it is a rather neat occupation that is still around. Fun to hear about these kinds of jobs that were once adundant and now house very few people in them. Dis you go to school for it? 5y
