Nightmare | 
I wasn‘t sure this day would come...
We decided to add built-ins around our fireplace by a reputable cabinet maker. But it‘s been a nightmare. The fireplace venting was ripped & crushed and hidden from us. We had to fight for proper repairs to be made (our fireplace guy said our house would have been in flames in 2-3 hours...) and then had to wait for the middle to be rebuilt. But now it‘s done! Jury is still out on if it was worth the stress.

We‘re just so frustrated with how things went, many tears were shed! Of course, it hasn‘t helped that the books have been in boxes since June while this has been going on. Nothing worse than a bad reno and you can‘t even console yourself with your books! 5y
