I visited Prospero‘s Books today after a trip to Kansas for my niece‘s soccer games. This is a fantastic used book store with a lot of character and a great selection of books.

This summer I got my family to drive across the Kansas/Missouri state line to go here. We were treated to three floors of used books and live Irish music. Definitely got some cool points.
This is why I like to visit independent #bookstores when I travel.

marleed @PaperbackPirate I live on the Kansas side in Prairie Village. I try to walk 5 miles a day. I can get that if I wonder over to Ward Parkway and back. I just had a visiting sister from Montana, and I walked her across State Line Rd two times. She thought it was so funny. 5y

marleed @PaperbackPirate I have not. I‘ve just lived in my house for a year but I googled it based on your prompt. Looks like I need to drive 40 blocks north and check it out because @Crazeedi it does sound wonderful! And I love to thrift books! 5y
