#bookhaul from the bookshop Indigo in Montreal on day 1 of our mini-vacation. Got two creepy ones that were on my TBR. Already loving this city: if anyone has any favorite spots, literary or otherwise, let me know! 🇨🇦
tournevis La grande bibliothèque! Go there, and in the backstreet off it are something like 10 small used and rare multi-language bookstores! Also check out Paragraph near McGill University, the Word, also near McGill, but on the other side of campus, and avenue Mont-Royal has used books and cd stores all over. 5y
tournevis And! On Sunday afternoons and early evenings, you can go to Tam Tam, on one of the flanks of Mont-Royal, where everyone and their brother go to play drums and make music and dance, just for the fun of it. 5y

Billypar @batsy This edition is part of a classics series: I like the artwork, maybe not quite as much as the traditional cover, but I'm a sucker for pocket- sized paperbacks. I'm looking forward to it- if I can wait until October, it would be good for the Halloween season 🎃 5y
Billypar @LeahBergen Thanks for the recommendations! Trying to figure out how to pack as much as possible into our 2.5 remaining days- so much to do and see. I love bagels, and even though I'm a vegetarian, I'm with three meat-eaters so will have to tell them about Schwartz's- just a 10 minute walk from where we're staying. 5y
