Paris Affair | Tatiana de Rosnay
9 posts | 9 read | 4 to read
From the internationally best-selling author of "Sarah's Key" Tatiana de Rosnay comes an irreverent yet heartfelt collection of short stories that examines our most intimate and forbidden desiresLate nights at the office... Hotel rooms and secret rendezvous... Lingering perfume... Sizzling texts...What takes place in Paris when husbands and wives tangle with infidelity? In this compulsively readable collection, Tatiana de Rosnay paints a portrait of forbidden loves in many shades - sometimes tragic, sometimes humorous, sometimes heartfelt, always with a dry wit and unflinching authenticity. A PARIS AFFAIR will take you on a vacation overseas, into the hidden lives of husbands, wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, where illicit desire wars with duty, and where a French take on romance will surprise you every time.

Pickpick

I just finished this short story collection curled up in my pajamas on this snow day. I enjoyed most of the stories, all of which took place in Paris, and all of which dealt with infidelity.

Book 3 from my #MountTBR. Even though I broke my book ban, I am still trying to read 30 books from my huge mountain of books.

On Monday, these are some of the books I had to add to 3 of my displays: Mother's Day; Asian-American Authors; Destination: Paris. Books are flying off the tables 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! Hopefully people are revving up for the #SummerReadingProgram. #LitsyLovesLibraries #MrBooksDisplays

⭐️If I could give negative stars-I would. I remember people really liking Sarah's Key, which I've yet to read. So I figured I'd listen to this book as I'd be able to finish it in less than a week on my commute. Don't waste your time.

Unfortunately I'm not really feeling this collection of short stories. Most of the stories feel the same story being told over and over. There were a few that were interesting, but overall it was a bit boring and repetitive ⭐️⭐️
