San Diego Public Library - Clairemont Branch | 
One of our smallest nearby library branches reliably has one of the best ongoing book sales. Pretty pleased with my haul from the 5 for $1 rack. 📚❤️

ImperfectCJ @Christine It's definitely a treat to discover local Littens on here. I was so excited when I saw you'd tagged a SDPL branch! We (my kids and I, not the royal "we") have yet to get to the Clairemont branch, but we're collecting them all, so we'll make it eventually. :-) 5y

Christine @ImperfectCJ We love to check out new branches, too (city and county)! It‘s so fun discovering the unique perks of each. The tagged Clairemont one really is pretty tiny, but in addition to good for-sale books they usually have an impressive number of new release DVDs in stock. 5y
Hooked_on_books My mom lives in Carlsbad. She loves her library branch but almost never buys books (I‘m not sure what‘s wrong with her—maybe I‘m adopted? 😆). 5y

ImperfectCJ @Christine We use the county system for ebooks and audiobooks (we're completely dependent upon Libby/Overdrive), but we rarely visit the county branches because I live in fear if mixing up city and county books. I like to think I'm a rebel, but really I'm a goody-two-shoes rule follower. 😆 Agreed on the fun of finding the perks/quirks of the branches. 5y
Christine @ImperfectCJ YES re: county Libby/Overdrive! Their audiobooks supply the majority of my book consumption, and I‘m so grateful for their impressive catalog. And agreed, we rarely visit or borrow from their branches (mostly because we don‘t have one nearby, relatively speaking), but whenever we do visit one I‘m always impressed by their physical collections as well. 5y
