I listen to a lot of book podcasts in the car and when I hear something I think I‘d like to read, I ask Siri to add the title to a reminders list so that I can add it to Goodreads later. She often gets it wrong but close enough that I can guess the title. But not this time... the reminder I have is:

Launch add water

I have no idea what book it is. Any guesses what this title could be?!

DaveGreen7777 Do you remember if it was a mystery? There‘s a cozy mystery called Just Add Water, that‘s close to Siri‘s suggestion? 🧐 5y
Amandajoy I would probably try saying Launch Add Water to Siri really fast and see if she gives me the book title. Not sure if it would work. 5y
janeycanuck @Amandajoy She searched for Pokémon Chad Water... 5y

janeycanuck @DaveGreen7777 I do like a mystery... I don‘t think that was the title but it sounds good! 5y
Amandajoy Hmm... that doesn‘t seem helpful. Do you remember what podcast it was from? 5y
janeycanuck @Amandajoy it was likely one of the Book Riot ones. I‘m going to sit down and start going through their show notes, see if I can figure it out. 5y

Fellow Littens,
This book exists somewhere... and I must find it! 😂
The first sentence has me hooked, and I must say, it is just fabulous w/o any context whatsoever. If anyone knows where this literal hidden gem 💎 of a book is, point me in the right direction. Please and thank you.

you are all my most favorite people in this universe by the way, even if it is widely regarded as a bad move, at least we have each other, Litzy, and books!
📚☺️👍

shendrix413 Isn't that one of the hitchhiker guide books? By Douglas adams 6y

I have a gift card to spend and I would love some book recs. Looking especially for the following:
--intricate mysteries/outside the box styles of writing
--books on social justice
--fun memoirs
--LGBT romance

drokka Ann Cleeves for mysteries. 7y
Nuwanda @drokka That's a new name for me, so thanks! 7y

Nuwanda @Godmotherx5 Reforming justice systems is a big interest of mine--will definitely check that out as well! 7y
charl08 Boris Akunin for complex mysteries: each book is written in a different style (e.g. one set on a boat like Agatha Christie). 7y
Nuwanda @charl08 That sounds fun! Will definitely into those books! 7y
Dragon Just listening to the Get Booked podcast and they mentioned a book I enjoyed 7y
Dragon They also mentioned a funny memoir I liked 7y
Heretherebedragons I think Everfair checks off 2 and 4 on your list. 6y

When you really, inexplicably care what the guy on the next bench is reading, but he keeps contorting himself into bizarre angles in a seemingly intentional attempt to keep you from seeing the cover. #publicreadingproblems

shawnmooney Nice legs, though! 😋 8y
Readasaurus_rex Oh nooooooo sounds like book shame. Poor guy. 8y
Angelala007 Bad socks though 😜 8y

LeslieO I used to love the New York Underground Public Library. She would photograph people reading on the subway and identify the books. If she didn't know what the book was someone would help identify it. That's just a snippet of a cover. Anyone recognize it? 8y
gustafson_angi I'm seeing s male on the cover 8y
Elisa That is so selfish of him, how could he not at least let you take a peek? 😄 8y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa You should have just asked. 8y
Soopermanian Looks like Zeuitoin to me. 8y
Yossarian No. It had a Kafka/ Freud-looking bearded European guy on the cover. 8y
CarolynShannon May be nothing to do with books. I think he's trying to show you his fab gams. 8y
