Is this a thriller or is it slapstick? Unfortunately it's more of the latter than the former and I am no fan of slapstick. The premise is intriguing and the first few chapters had me excited but it quickly devolved into a preposterous plot with cartoonish characters. It didn't work for me so I gave up.
