The writing is beautiful but some parts of the book felt dragged out. Liked it, didn't love it. Maybe I was not in the right state of mind to enjoy it...

Earlier this week, I was at a book event to hear Per Petterson talk about his latest novel out in Norway, “Menn i min situasjon” (Men in my situation). So obviously not the tagged book, but a book about Arvid as well.

I‘ve never read anything written by him before, but I‘m really looking forward to it now. Off course I bought his latest and got it signed.

hilded I think 'Out Stealing Horses' is the one that is most known world wide @Cinfhen. I love that one, but it is a quiet book, so you have to like non-action books to enjoy them I think.
