Oh Agatha! While this one also focuses a lot on Agatha‘s love life rather than the mystery, I didn‘t find it as disruptive as the last one, perhaps because she and a regular character are both wishy-washy over their futures - to propose or not to propose…

Sinister secrets and grizzly murders abound in this series addition, featuring a less-than-holy bishop and a bunch of church bell ringers, plus an abusive vicar. #BBRC #Adult #TakesTwoToTango

Crazeedi I think I might have this one! I have a few of hers, I'll have to look 4mo
Librarybelle @Crazeedi I think I‘m enjoying the series more at this point for how the characters interact rather than the mysteries, which seem to be a side plot line. I know this is near the end of Beaton writing the series, and I can tell the stories are not as strong closer to her passing away. 4mo

Under the influence of a very strong gin and tonic combined with a comfortable chair in Agatha's garden, Helen began to relax…

Another fun Agatha #audiobook is done! I enjoyed this one. There‘s only one left written solo by M.C. Beaton before she passed 😪 but I‘m still glad the series is continuing. I hope Agatha and Charles actually do get together one of these days. 😬 4⭐️

Ahh Agatha! What scrapes you get into! This is the 29th book in the series - a lot of people got punched on the nose... but it was quite a good story with lots of red herrings - although I was a little surprised at the ending! (It‘s sure to be the main plot line in the next book)

If you like humor with your mystery then you must read the Agatha Raisin Mystery series. She is stubborn and speaks her mind and always looking for true love. She doesn't have a good record with love but does great finding the killer.
