I enjoyed reading this magazine enough to subscribe to it. I got my fill of mystery short stories.

Pickpick

For the Nov/Dec 2018 issue: You can always count on EQMM for a broad sampling of good mysteries. Most are usually pretty good and there's usually at least one that knocks my socks off.

While it's rare for me to find any collection where I love ALL the stories, I'm always amazed each issue when my least favorite is by a regular contributor. 🤔

But, I enjoyed it as usual. 4/5 stars.

1. A rainbow after Monday's snow storm.
2. Trick question. I'm not going anywhere physically, but I do plan to lose myself in the pages of a good book - don't know where that will take me yet!
3. Having a few nights off from cooking.
4. Sully, the #dogsoflitsy cuddle beast pictured above.
5. This volume has been dragging a bit, but only 4 stories in, so too early to tell.

Thanks @MinDea #HumpDayPost

1 & 2. Yes. My mother and I watch a few old movies; always the same ones: The Ghost and Mrs. Muir with Rex Harrison and Gene Tierney, White Christmas with Bing Crosby, and A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sim.
3. Bake cookies
4. No snow
5. See 1&2 above.

I just came across this magazine and I reeeaally want to subscribe it 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!!! Has anyone ever heard of this one? I should inquire next time I'm at The Mysterious Bookshop. Do you have any favorite literary magazines? There's some great poetry ones out there too.

kspenmoll It was around when I was growing up & I liked it then- have't read it in years😍 7y
ChristieStratos Super famous mystery magazine! Mystery Scene is also a good one if you want a different angle on mystery books and writing. 7y
readinginthedark I've heard of this but don't know anything about it. Unfortunately, literary magazines didn't sell much where I used to work (unless you count The New Yorker). 7y

Betty I used to subscribe to EQMM and Alfred Hitchcock magazine in the 70's and 80's. Loved reading them. 7y
vivastory I really enjoy Kirkus Review. A subscription is ultra-expensive, but my local library allows back issues to be checked out. Published twice per month, I never have to wait long for new issue. Also enjoy World Literature Today & Poetry. 7y

drokka My uncle got them in the 70s & 80s and I used to devour them. I had no idea they're still around. 7y
SaturnDoo I used to read this many years ago ☺ My favorite literary magazine is Bookmarks ❤❤❤ 7y
