Yes, Star Trek is literary too! Got my ticket to view What We Left Behind, Ira Behr's documentary on the best written Star Trek series. Yes, my preferred series is still TOS, but the best written is DS9, no question about it. It will be a blast to see more HD footage on the big screen, as well as hearing the entire cast bitch on not-quite-a-person Rick Berman, who held back the franchise from modernity as much as he could. #startreksummermay #ds9

Novel based on the pilot for the series Star Trek Deep Space Nine which premiered twenty five years ago.

I probably love DS9 too much to not give the pilot novelization a pick. Actually teared up twice, what a nonsense person I am.

This week I finished my series binge of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine! Although I skipped anything that wasn't related to the Dominion War (or, in early seasons, the Maquis), I still watched about 75 episodes spanning seven seasons. While I'm not ready to call it the best Trek show, it's certainly the last great one (unless Star Trek: Discovery is awesome). I've heard the story continues in novel form, so maybe I'm not done with DS9 yet!
