pickIf you‘ve followed me for any length of time, you know I love Ausma Zehanat Khan. She‘s an amazing person and a gifted author, so even though I am not Muslim and I don‘t have children, I bought this book because she authored it. It‘s a great primer on the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, featuring history, varied traditions, and heartwarming quotes from children about what Ramadan and Eid mean to them. Highly recommended to all.

DGRachel @GingerAntics It is! I‘m tempted to check out the other Orca Origins books - they have them for Passover, Christmas, Chinese New Year, and Diwali. I think there‘s also one planned for Pow Wows. 5y
