Second book finished for #SuperSeptember

I found this one of the more enjoyable books in the series and saw a pick uop in the series after the last book or two. Hopefully this continues. Good to see a book where Rhona‘s relationship with Liam was explored more. Good plotting and look forward to the next one.

Tove_Reads Yes, I liked this one! Read the next Chris Carter, a Coban you haven‘t read (if there is one), or start the fabulous Lottie Parker series by Patricia Gibney - you‘ll be out of the slump in no time!! 2y
Tove_Reads Oh, and in October we‘ll be reading 2y
Andrew65 @Tove_Reads Thanks, just gone to the Karen Hart Series by D S Butler 2y

When art student Jude Evans disappears on a photographic visit to a derelict Glasgow cinema, her friend Liam he enlists the help of his birth mother, forensic scientist Dr. Rhona MacLeod, in his search for Jude. Visiting other derelict cinemas on her list, they find clues to her disappearance and to the horrifying secret she may have discovered behind those walls.

EadieB Throughout the investigation, Rhona must deal with the news that a face from her past is literally back from the dead—but for how long?
Jude Evans has disappeared into thin air. Rhona now has to discover who took her and why. The characters were unique and the plot and twists and turns were such that kept me reading until the end. This book is quite long and could have been shorter.

Andrew65 I feel one or two of these have been a bit on the long side. 2y

I‘m torn about this one. My least favourite in the series this far. Didn‘t really enjoy the case in this book. The book was also way too long. Otherwise it was interesting to read about Rhona and Sean and Rhona and Einar. The unexpected death took me by surprise.

Andrew65 Oh dear 😬 2y
