This was a lovely spin-off of the Charlie Bone series! I'm very sad that I've now read all of Jenny Nimmo's books (as far as I know). I always find myself rooting for the characters she creates, and this book was no exception!

This is my 7th book for #SeriesRead2022 @TheSpineView

It also fills the History of Magic prompt for #OWLsReadingChallenge

I finished The Hobbit, too, which fills the Animagus prompt, & brings me to 3 bingo squares 😊📚

TheSpineView Great job! 👍📖📚 2y

My 8 y/o started reading this but found it a bit scary and asked me to read it with him. I'm glad! We both really enjoyed this story of a magical cloak, an evil sorceress ex-step mother, various enchanted (cursed) people, and eerie green-glowing phantoms.

AlaMich That is the best cover! 5y
Leniverse @AlaMich Yes! It was on a display shelf and we homed in on it immediately. 5y
