Experiencing Alice Cooper
Experiencing Alice Cooper: A Listener's Companion | Ian Chapman
2 posts
Ian Chapman surveys Alice Coopers career through his twenty-six studio albums (1969-2017). Throughout, Chapman argues that while Cooper may have been rocks most accomplished showman, he is first and foremost a musician, with his share of gold and platinum albums to vouch for his qualifications as a musical artist.

I got to experience a show at the #GrandOleOpry last night...Alice Cooper. Not who I would‘ve expected to see while in TN, but so worth it. At 71, the man can perform. Such a fun show!

LibrarianRyan Okay, I really want to know how Cooper gets to preform on the Opry stage. I had read that they were really picky. Had to be country and a member of the Opry. I am kind of jelly right now. 5y
JackOBotts @LibrarianRyan - I‘m right there with you! I‘m not sure how it came to be, but I‘m SO glad I heard about it. Otherwise I wouldn‘t have made it to the venue. He put on a solid show...no country acts performed with him (Halestorm was the opener, which we didn‘t see). Does the Opry moonlight as a regular ole venue on occasion? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Perhaps...it‘s a mystery to me. 5y
