1 post | 1 read
When the rift valley river they depend on runs dry, a small group of our earliest ancestors are forced to set out to find a new place to live. It is a difficult and uncertain time, and some manage better than others. New situations bring new challenges and big questions about the world. When one woman makes an important and unsettling discovery about how they have all been surviving, conflict breaks out.

Pretty interesting book. A story that may well have reflected how our ancestors lived, back when we were just as likely to be prey as predator.
Covers a few things that seem natural to us, but we're probably new and frightening ways to think back then, no spoilers of course ;)
I liked it. It's my kinda thing :)
