Murder at Le Bijou Bistro | Dianne Harman

When the wrong person is murdered at Le Bijou Bistro restaurant, just who was the intended victim of death by chocolate cake? Was it the retired mobster, Al De Duco? Or was it Al's wife of two weeks, Cassie? And what could the motive have been?

I wasn‘t impressed with this book, but cozy mysteries don‘t hold my interest. This satisfies Washington in my #ReadingUSA2019 challenge.

For a couple of challenges. So not my genre! And the dog better damn well not die...... #bookishbingo #mounttbr #readingUSA 2019

Traci1 Lol I'd hope you'd be safe from doggy deaths in a cozy mystery. I'm one of those people who'd walk out of a movie if the dog dies, so I'm right there with you. 5y
mrsmarch There‘s a website called something like DoesTheDogDie dot com and it tells you whether the book or movie is likely to offend. Usually when a dog appears on the cover of a cozy it means they‘re going to be a long term side kick to the plucky crime solving heroine, so I think you‘re okay. 5y
